Business South 2012 was proud to have supported the Blue Lamp Trust as the Nominated Event Charity for 2012
The Blue Lamp Trust is a Registered Charity specialising in business driver training which ensures employers comply with their legal duty of care for their employees who either drive compnay vehicles or their own vehicles on compnay business.
The Driver Training covers work related road safety, assists you to mitigate risks and ensures you protect yourself from prosecution.
The training is likely to provide real business benefits such as:
- Reduced insurance premiums due to reduced claims
- Reduced disruption to companies due to drivers being banned by the courts
- Reduced sickness absence as a result of employees being involved in accidents
- Reduced vehicle downtime for repairs following a crash
- Reduced running costs for vehicles for fuel, wear and tear
Better still, every time you do a course, a proportion of the money raised goes towards grants which promote community safety as well as to the Bobby Scheme which supports vulnerable victims of crime by making them feel safe in their homes.
