Exhibitors at the show understand the value of special attractions to draw visitors to their particular stand and this year they are pulling out all the stops to ensure success. As well as organising competitions with a host of impressive prizes and giveaways, many exhibitors have arranged a variety of entertainment to engage their visitors.
Southampton and Fareham Chamber of Commerce will be giving away prizes galore at the show including a FULL page of free advertising, a round of golf for four at the Botley Park Golf and Country Club kindly donated by this venue who are members of the Chamber of Commerce, a Canon PowerShot A470 Digital Camera donated by their Platinum Patrons Condor Office Solutions Ltd as well as a pair of Southampton Boat Show tickets. Solent Business Growth Network shall be holding a competition on stand 74. Our stand is about SMEs working together in a ‘cluster’ to provide a range of services for other businesses and we are using the idea of a football team and all that this implies – working together, supporting each other, team work etc. We shall be offering a ‘kick off’ competition on the stand using a PS2 game and we will have a board with all of the logos as a back drop for photos as well as offering a Free Business Health Check. There are 15 businesses in the cluster and we are hoping to create a lot of interest with the idea of collaboration and co-operation (our theme for this year is to fight the current financial crisis).
