The Rose Road Association
Over the past 55 years, the Rose Road Association has worked with many hundreds of young people from across Hampshire and the south of England. The young people who attend Rose Road have complex and multiple disabilities, requiring a range of specialist care and equipment.
Through the Change My Life Appeal we aim to raise £2,000 for each of the 150 young people who currently attend Rose Road – that’s £300,000 in total, a real challenge!
These young people include Chris McBeth - Chris’s life was changed forever as a result of a road accident which left the teenager severely disabled. Chris’s parents Claire and Neil have since offered their son unstinting care and dedication and it was soon after his accident they visited Rose Road. “The Rose Road Association has been absolutely fantastic” says Claire. “Since enrolling at the school and making use of the respite centre and other wonderful facilities, he has learnt to communicate by winking and he now laughs a lot. The people at The Association do not just support Chris, but the whole family.”
